Further medical assessment

Hi,

My husband has completed his medical on aug 24th,
ircc portal tracker has updated and said that further medical information is required, but so far no gckey messages have been sent by them.
Should I give it a couple more days hoping the instructions letter will come or should I call them?

No , IRCC will not send any letter to you directly
Please immediately contact to the Dr. office where you did Medical at very first place .
Call them and provide the reference # IMMI and they will provide you rest of details.

That Dr's office should have contacted you or emailed you... strange!

Most time these jokers don't care until you will call them

No , IRCC will not send any letter to you directly
Please immediately contact to the Dr. office where you did Medical at very first place .
Call them and provide the reference # IMMI and they will provide you rest of details.

A week prior to the portal update, the panel doctor did call but he said for our “health purposes” we should go to a family doctor and follow up…. but we wanted to mke sure we get an instruction letter of what other specific medical testing is required if needed.

He said theres a small nodular density on xray, so now we’re thinking do we go to xray specialist…

You need to see a pulmonologist ASAP. "Small nodular density" is likely an old healed scar due to infection or some thing. Did he get COVID and was it bad? Large nodular density *might* (and I stress *might* only and NOT will) indicate a lung cancer. Do not delay, see a family Dr or pulmonogist.

I will suggest not to be panic.
Relax and visit an specialist as suggested by your Dr.

During my work permit MR (12 year back) IRCC asked me to visit Dr and conduct further TB test as some mark they saw in my right lung .
I visited dr and they did TB test and MRI etc. but conclusion was nothing came out and it was just a mark (may be from birth) which never came out prior.
So relax and just follow what dr. suggest .

Depends on why the furtherance is being requested. If there's any concern it might be TB, then you can definitely expect a sputum test.

we arent sure whether to get a second opinion or wait, because talking to the original panel physician my husband did, he said he already sent over a clearer xray on emedical..

You need to do whatever additional tests are being requested in the furtherance. Trying to do anything else is just going to delay your application further.

in your case looks like IRCC is suspecting some Lung related issue .

Not to worry just follow dr. instruction
If all come negative then also MR will pass with observation code . (don't remember exactly but some code S2.1 or so ..)
which means you need to follow dr. after certain intervals for some time , you will be under observation

in your case looks like IRCC is suspecting some Lung related issue .
