So I received my LPP on July 17, 2023. However my ecas is still showing in progress and not Decision Made like most people. So out of curiosity, I contact the call centre to find out if an Oath is pending for me. The agent told me that all assessments are completed and nothing is outstanding, however, that my file is waiting a "FINAL REVIEW" or approval from an officer. so unfortunately I am not in queue for an OATH.

I'm with Mississauga Office.

I guess even though may have recieved LPP, you are not completely out the woods yet. Because in my case my ECAS is still showing in process and not decision made. Hence the reason an officer needs to sign off and give it the final approval. Guess I'll be in for a long wait, probably couple weeks to months, who knows? smh

Anyhooo, is there anyone in a similar position as me? Is your Ecas saying "Decision Made" or "In process"?

Yes I finally had an update today.

After calling numerous times, I heard that even though my section was completed my daughter's parentage verification was still in process and I am not in queue for Oath

After checking ECAS Daily and still seeing it "in process", today it now shows the infamous Decision Made :) I'm happy

I think the ATIP note that I requested on Sept 9th and the fact that I had to upload both parents' Gov ID, her birth paper, and we both had to complete and sign the minor consent form, triggered this DECISION MADE because it just changed exactly 1 week after submitting the request with those documents.

I can now relax comfortably to know that I will be sent in the queue now for OATH. (

That's great!
I haven't leave the country in the last 5 years, and my physical presence is not completed. They requested for copies of my passport, and so nervous. Not sure what they see that is making them question my presence. I am also Mississauga office

I had interview, and submitted copies of passport. I'm just waiting for physical presence for about 2 weeks and I called twice to find out if there is something wrong or anything on my side that I have to do, they said no just to wait, the second time I called they were more specific he said there is nothing to worry and all looks good.

I had a refugee claimed denied and did not leave the country, but I got my PR for sponsorship and I went back to my country of birth, but that was outside the 5 years period and I was told that that was not a problem, and prohibitions is green already so I assume i passed that part. I don't know what's wrong.

Y dont you order ATIP? I understand your frustration Thats how I felt when they couldn’t tell me what’s wrong. Some agent will read you bits of assessments phase that’s completed others will just give u the generic response. “File looks good just wait”

one specific agent told me all my section is cleared, however on my daughters file PARENTAGE is under review. Hence why a decision wasn’t made on my account n i wasnt in que becuz my file needs final review.
So last week Saturday I filled out the minors concent form, n submitted all the documents needed from both parents before I can get ATIP, so “I GUESS” that the ATIP request that had her fathers info helped to cement their query of parentage. Hence y they have now made a final decision.

so it doesn’t hurt to request your ATIP, just to see what the officers notes are, or what’s causing the hold up? Can you share your timeline please? Mine is in my signature
