Hi guys, I am applying for my parent's (Father and Mother) supervisa. I am applying on their behalf from canada. A few questions if anyone can guide. (1) A health insurance company anyone can recommend (googled a few and premiums are around $3k-$4k for a single person). Is that reasonable?
(2) I want my parents to visit and stay for a few months (surely longer than 6 months) but coming up short on strong reasons despite the fact that i'm their son and would love to have my parents to be with me but I heard visa officers demand more strong reasoning. Any templates that can help explain my reasoning better?
(3) What is the processing time for super visa these days?

Any help on the above is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Cheers!

1. Paid around $4k for my parents but dad had major heart procedure in 2014 and mom a canacer survivor thats why rate was more ……
2. No reasons for stay are required you can simply put (Want to spend time with family). I can share my letter and for that share your email with me.
3. I would say max 3 months if you provide Upfront Medical.

Hi all. I'm a new PR in Canada and want to apply for my parents' visa. Thing is, I'm not sure if I can/should apply for the super visa - I've only been in Canada for a few months. I just want to apply so my parents can come visit me.

I have a good job and meet the LICO criteria and will be fully supporting my parents during their stay. Read somewhere that I need to have a few years' tax returns from Canada available but don't see this as an official requirement anywhere so I'm a little confused. My father is retired so pension is his only source of income and my mother never worked. Also, given Pak's current situation, is it a good option to apply for a super visa?

With a visitor visa, I'm just worried about source of income, etc. Any suggestions or insights are welcome. Thank you!

It depends how long they want to stay in Canada. If less than 6 months, then regular TRV. Otherwise, super visa.

Hi,

my mother’s visitor visa application is refused based on paragraph 179(b) that she will not leave Canada at the end of her stay. Although I provided substantial supporting documentation such as her pension, employment, other benefits, and land ownership to show that she will go back. She lives alone though and all of my siblings live out of the country. What should I do? Is reapplying a good idea? Or can i get the application to be reviewed by another officer? Btw her super visa application was also refused back in 2019. Thank you
