Can i Come back canada with 3 months Visa and study permit left?

I have got my student visa and I have been to Canada, but because of family emergency I had to come back to India in just 23 days. My Passport, Study Permit and VISA is expiring on 31st July, 2024. I want to go to Canada again for may, 2024 intake. Can I travel with 3 months visa left? Also i want to change my DLI.

It isn't a problem to enter with 3 months left on your visa and passport but to change your DLI you will have to apply for a new permit with a new LOA and pay the SP fees again. Since you aren't in Canada and actively studying you can't just change the DLI.

Have you advised your current school you won't be returning or starting the courses? You might also consider renewing your passport before applying for the new SP then the SP might cover the full length of your studies.

How long did you study for? Are you still studying? You say you left after 23 days. If not studying, college/university has to contact IRCC to cancel your study permit. If only you studied for 23 days, you cannot change DLI. You need to apply for a new study permit.
