Hi,
I'm a PR and have applied to sponsor my wife through a Lawyer. However, we made a mistake in Schedule A Background Declaration by saying NO instead of YES in 4(d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country where in fact she has been refused for a Visitor VISA twice before, and we clearly slipped entirely the sentence before jumping into a conclusion of ticking NO.
We have received today from the Beirut Migration Office that we need:
Your explanation on the following issue: You answered "no" on your schedule A at question 4(d). However, you were refused a temporary visa to Canada twice; on 2013-12-04 and on 2015-03-06. I have concerns that you are not being truthful in your application. Please provide an explanation for this false declaration, which could result in the refusal of your application.
I was so in shock and automatically called my Lawyer who told told me that it happened before and that she is going to deal with it. I am so worried because my whole future is based on their decision.
Has anyone had any similar past experience?
