My DPS 1, DPS 2, DPS 3, DPS 4, FDR 1, FDR 2. My spouse is also my sponsor. She is showing her DPS 1, FDR 1, FDR 2.

As proof of money for the Canada study permit, we are displaying the aforementioned Deposit Pension Scheme (DPS) and fixed deposit receipt (FDR) which were all opened in 2018 or before.

My wife is a doctor, and I am an engineer. We have been maintaining the monthly deposits of all our DPS from THIS SOURCE OF MONEY.

We don't need to do anything because FDR does not require regular installments. After maturity, we will return the entire amount plus interest.

All of the accounts are mentioned in our past 2 years of Income tax assessment as well. My question is, while writing the explanation letter as to the source of funds, should we just mention by emphasizing that we have been maintaining the DPS, FDR in our name for five years and providing evidence of our income tax returns and the FDR's growth through interest? Or do I have to also mention who gave the money 5 years ago for my initial main deposits?

Fixed deposits are now viewed as accessible funds. If your spouse is a physician would not suggest moving to Canada if she ever wants to practice again. It is incredibly difficult to get relicensed in Canada unless you have done your training in certain countries. It is even difficult if you do train in these countries and they even if you are a Canadian citizen. In certain specialties it will be almost impossible. Many think that because of wait lists it will be easily to get retrained in Canada. The majority of wait times are primarily due to budget issues and lack of other healthcare professionals like nurses. If looking to move abroad as a physician from Pakistan I would suggest UK, Ireland, most middle eastern countries and even the US ( although there may be some limitations on visas and where you can practice). Australia and New Zealand may be an option but typically more difficult than the other specified counties.

Thanks for your response canuck78.
My wife won't go. I am going for my masters program. But she will be my secondary sponsor. My major concern is actually about the initial deposit of the money in 2018. Or as long as I say I am maintaining them, and these are mentioned in our Income tax will be enough?
