Hello everyone, if someone filed a Refugee case but his decision is not made yet. But on other side person already got PR in a spousal sponsorship. Can we withdraw Refugee file? If we do there is any consequence?

You can withdraw your Refugee provided decision has not been made..

That what i thought. A Lawyer can not give that advise. So the Answer is NO. You wont lose your Permanent Resident Status by withdrawing your refugee claim before decision

You can apply but don’t withdraw refugees case once you got pr then you can withdraw .

I’d like to know this too. I accidentally filled in the refugee application form and my passport was seized. I don’t want a refugee status and I’m going back home and 43 days, so I really need my passport back.
