if the denial was at Canada airport we could have said that this is related to immigration policy..
but the person was refused boarding by airline..
from canada immigration point of view, they gave you visa. lets suppose 5 year MULTIPLE visa for business visits. They expect you to comply with the terms:
- come for ANY business event
- come before visa expire
- have proper plan (business event invitation OR business related plan) and funds when arriving
- leave canada within given time
but no airline av right to deny your boarding based on assumptions.. airline duty is to check the validity of visa and purpose of trip..
his visa was valid and his purpose was matching the visa..
its unfair to deny him boarding based on given information..
