What happens if I submitted the application to the wrong category?

Hello, my name is Mufei. I'm in Saskatchewan and currently on a Canadian work permit. I submitted the PR application yesterday but IRCC emailed me today that I submitted to the wrong category.

The application I submitted was Other - Permit Holder Class (I though that applys to work permit holder)

I got the SINP student stream. Should I start fresh to submit the application to Economic - PNP?

Would IRCC refund me the application fee?

Can I withdraw/make changes to the first application? I cannot do anything when I login to my account.

Hello Bellaluna. The email just said that the application will be returned to me. Did not mention either there will be a refund or how to proceed next

Looks like you will have to make a new, correct application next. Yes, you should be able to request for a refund for the returned application if you weren't informed it will be refunded automatically.
