Apply visitor Visa after ITA application submission

Hey folks, I submitted my PR application after receiving the ITA last week, and I was also in the middle of applying renewal of my visitor visa. Yesterday I was asked to ship my passport to IRCC for visitor visa application, I assume they are going to attach a new visitor visa to my passport. Should I ship my passport to IRCC to complete the visitor visa application or just withdraw the visitor visa application since I already submitted my PR application, and then just wait for the PR application approval?

Thanks a lot for your reply. I do understand that this will not have any impact on my PR application, however, my concern is that if IRCC asks me to provide my passport during my PR application process while my passport is not in my hand due to the visitor visa stamping. I would definitely want to prioritize my PR application. Just wondering if I can do the stamping at the boarder?

As you said, you submitted Pr application last week, which will take some time. The stamping for a visa on your passport is probably a 5-10 days process. Are you expecting to get your pr in the next 10 days?
