I'm still waiting for a follow-up to that ghost update, my friend. How about you? Hopefully, we see something new next week :/
did they extend your medicals?

I hope they do, if they're taking this oh so long time only to check my spouse's background check, because they're gonna expire on October 23rd :/
Do you know if the security check has started, It is usually visible in the GCMS notes or Telephone agents tell us also.
Did CBSA or IRCC GCMS notes say the spouses security is in progress for more than 6 Months, if yes then try ordering CSIS notes and see.

The GCMS notes I ordered are 30 days delayed (I ordered them 60 days ago). When asked about it, the company I ordered them with, GetGCMS, said IRCC is facing an unusual influx of GCMS notes requests, thus the delay. I went ahead and placed another order of notes with another company, GCMSBuddy this time, about 20 days ago. So I have no idea what is going on with my application. I'm starting to think they've accidentally lost/deleted/erased my files.

Ya the source for all these companies is IRCC/CBSA. If the government agencies delay these websites can't do anything.

So I've just called them and, effectively, all that's left is my spouse's Security Check and Criminality, which are In Progress. Everything else, for us both, including Info Sharing, is already Completed.

I had the similar experience, though I finally received GCMS notes through gcmsapply in 14 days last time. Not sure why different time period for different people.

Hopefully that's done soon and that it's not going into enhanced security checks

My guess is that it's already under enhanced check. My BGC took only 26 days to be completed while my spouse's is already into the 3rd month lol
but unless you get the notes you won't know when security started right? e.g. in my case the security check has not even been started in almost 3.5 months all because IRCC purposefully decided to keep a whole basket of PNP files idle because they have 9 months processing time anyway.
If your spouses security is not enhanced one it will start and end the same day or less than a week when the VO or someone in the office pick your file.

When I called, I was told that both security and criminality were in progress (had already been started) for my spouse. That's all I know :(
