I underwent a Sputum test 3 months after my initial Upfront Medical, and the Panel Physician said that my my lungs were cloudy/hazy and will have to take a third X-ray test even though the results were negative. Can someone help or maybe assist me with my case? I already told my Panel Physician that maybe the cloudy area in my lungs was because of my asthma. Can I request that they'll refer me to a Pulmonologist so that I can really show the Embassy that I do not have a TB.

Unfortunately you have to go with panel doctor's word as IRCC does not consider any other doctors outside their panel. This is mandatory you have to go for another xray.

Hey, I am an international student here in Canada and applied for my husband's SOWP in May and got a call from medical center for additional sputum test on last Thursday and on Friday his application got rejected saying we didn't provide additional documents they asked us but we didn't received anything on portal or any emails asking the medical tests or additional documents. Don't know what to do and agent doesn't seems to know anything in this matter and not answering the call. Can anyone suggest anything or is there anyone who faced same situation?

What does the rejection letter says?

@Taran D
"You have not complied with our request for information, per subsection 16(1.1) of the IRPA. To date, you have failed to comply with our request for an examination."
This is the reason of refusal

Just googled the code you mentioned and this is what it says:
(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires.

As you said you had hired a representative to look after your file you need to contact them to look for the reason.
Your are saying you went to do sputum on Thursday, isn't it? Have the panel doc met you and started the treatment?

It was my husband's file, we didn't receive any request for this test until Thursday, and next day my husband went to meet panel physician. She asked to do the test from another diagnostic center which was scheduled for sat but he got refusal on Friday.

The refusal does not seems to be this. IRCC does not give such a short time for medical furtherance. Why the agent is not helping you is beyond my thoughts? You paid them to look for that? I would suggest to change them if this attitude of them.
Anyways for furtherance just follow that don't ignore it for future purposes.

The normal procedure is:

Upfront medicals (if x-ray detects anything unusual...)
3 days sputum test (Results come out in 3 months...)
2nd x-ray

Are you saying you were told that your second x-ray revealed cloudy lungs?

Kindly explain your situation properly.

Hi guys, adding further details to my situation. Even after getting refusal my husband did take the sputum test as scheduled and its negative, his 2nd x-ray has been done and the reports are sent to CIC on Oct 20th, 2023 but after he took this test his medical got expired on Sep 26, 2023 and his sputum tests results are linked to the expired medical IME, our medical center informed us that he he can't go for new medical test before the previous one is expired due to his further medical examination situation (that's the reason he took the test on that IME to avoid any delays). Now, we applied the new visa application with new medical IME as instructed by our agent, we have mentioned all these details in SOP and attached every possible evidence explaining our situation, but still there's no update on it. They updated my daughter's medical but not my husband's. Can anyone knows how much time they will take to clear his medical and to request their passport.
