Will any bank accept US Income for providing mortgage . I am on H1B, and had become PR in 2022, now I have moved to Canada and commute to work
Also, I did not file my taxes in Canada last year.
With my US income would any bank in Canada give mortgage ?

Banks have the following conditions:
1. Min downpayment >= 35%
2. Foreign proof of income that's commonly acceptable is if it is from a Fortune 500 company

Mortgage brokers otoh don't need #2 - they can work with if you also have a Canadian job, or a permanent offer letter(for EI).

I am a PR holder but off late I am thinking of applying for H1 to work with US companies as there are really good opportunities but I don't know where to start
Do we need to have a consultant to apply for H1b
Can I get some resources which has detailed info for beginners like me

I am into IT project Management and worked with the big 5 in the last 13 years
