Hello Everyone! Last month my SDS application got refused due to strong family ties in Canada, weak family ties outside Canada, and purpose of visit. My profile is as mentioned below:

Intended program: MOM Data Analytics Windsor
Previous Education: Bs Accounting and Finance CGPA 3.56
IELTS 8 bands
Currently working as an assistant manager in digital banking department of bank.

One of my sister has PR in Canada and my other sister has Green card in US. My mother who has travelled to Canada twice before for a month or two went to Canada on a visit visa a week after I applied and is now back in Pakistan. My father got his US visit visa approved this year but he is still here with me and my elder brother. My elder got his Canada visit visa refused this year.

My GCMS notes didn't mentioned any details and had just mentioned exact same reasons as the refusal letter. RCIC person is saying that my application was rejected by chinook and wasn't even opened by the VO and so I should reapply and use certain keywords that will pass through chinook. What should i do? Should I reapply by updating documents and having almost same application or should I wait for a year?

P.S I was promoted on job after my visa refusal from management trainee to an assistant manager and was made permanent staff so that's the only improvement in my application now.

Yeah you have strong ties and it might be difficult for you, but you can explain how your life will be better in your home country after you finish your studies.

Hi there @Muhammad Saadi, I've two questions for you:

1. Did you apply through a RCIC based out of Pakistan? If so, are you absolutely certain they uploaded all the documents you gave them and accurately represented your family details?

2. Did you attach a Statement of Purpose (SoP) in the Client Information section where you mentioned your family ties outside Pakistan and more importantly in Pakistan?

The only reason I ask these questions is that the onus may be on you to explain how you will not be dependent on your sisters, and will return to Pakistan to work and take care of your parents. Do you have any financial ties to Pakistan, any land or property that are solely on your name? These may help establish roots in Pakistan.
