FSW with Job offer letter in Canada

Hi,

I reached canada in Jan 2023 on a closed work permit and my spouse on open work permit. We are both working as accountants in Big4 audit firms.

I understand that to claim the job offer and Canadian experience in CEC we have to wait for 1 year.

But can we apply in FSW currently by claiming only the job offer points in our total CRS? Are we legally allowed to claim our job offer points in FSW?

Your spouse cannot claim job offer points.

What kind of work permit do you have? Is it LMIA exempt like an ICT or did your employer get an approved LMIA?

This is an ICT - Inter company transfer LMIA exempt job offer. Can I claim job offer points for myself?

This is an ICT - Inter company transfer LMIA exempt job offer. Can I claim job offer points for myself?

Since it's LMIA exempt, you have to work for the employer for a full year in Canada before you can claim job offer points. So you will have to wait until Jan 2024.
