Yes, there is a way to attach things with a webform, although I don't recall details of how exactly to do it. We did it to update passport info for one of the family.

Anyone who has missing or useful or updated information to provide really should update through webform. (My view is that using webform to ask generic "hey where is my file any update" questions is a complete waste of time and possibly will make things worse - don't overdo it with webforms, use it only for required communication)
@AF31
Correction: My bad, i wrote above that you cant provide anything unless IRCC asks you. That's WRONG INFO.
Yes you can pre-emptively provide info through webform! If you find anything missing or lacking, you can inform IRCC through webform.

I know its very tough and the feeling when you are facing a complete brick wall. CIC is like that wall - and we all keep wailing to it - with no response. I guess, we all should prioritize - progress of our Spousal PR first and foremost. TRV is becoming a distraction and hassle.

Ok so you applied on Dec 21 2022 and got AOR in Feb 2023 - and no response since then? Based on what I saw on this forum, yes it feels little alarming as Jan'23 applicants are getting their PPRs by now - not all, but i have seen couple on this forum. On the other hand, there are also Sep 2022 and June 2022 applicants who got their PPRs by now. So technically, its not a red flag unless it has crossed the 12-14 month timeline from the date of your application submission. You mentioned its been stuck on Eligibility for months. Did the sponsor provide all their relevant Financial and Taxes details properly and thoroughly? Did you both provided security and background checks? Has the sponsor or PA lived/worked in different countries in the past 4-5 years. Security checks take long time, specially if its from Middle eastern countries, i have been through that personally, so i know.

So in all this, what can you do? Realistically speaking - NOTHING! Even if you discover that you missed a form, how can you provide it? They dont give a link (im not much aware of the webform, does it have upload buttons? i dont know). I'd suggest check out youtube channel 'Hit and Submit'. Go through his videos to see if you missed anything. if not - then be at peace that it will take its due course. or as we say, khair inshaAllah. It will be fine.

Yes GCMS notes and trying to get something out from an MP might help - but again, if there is something lacking in the application, CIC will contact you to provide it. And you can't pre-emptively provide it, if you can, pls do it! Instead, if you are the PA and currently not working or studying, i'd strongly suggest you to you upgrade/advance your IT skills with some certifications, get IELTS done and basically everything you can to prepare yourself for your life in Canada. Put the TRV thought on the shelf for a little while. In your case, the time is pretty close for PPR. You never know, all those things might come all at once. CIC does not follow any pattern or standard way of doing things. I hope and wish that you hear from IRCC soon and get your SA, COPR and PPR ---all at once this month.
....and you never know, you might just the TRV email in few days!
I asked that agent I spoke to that if there is anything that we application is lacking that could possible be the cause of delay and she said no there is nothing more that we need from you and it is still in process.
Now, the only option is to wait for the notes to come then we will see where it goes from there and what we can possibly do to expedite the process.
Can't do more than what we have already done and yeah InshaAllah things will work out for the best.

I really appreciate the help, Thanks alot. :)

In our case, we decided not to apply for TRV because being from the Philippines, there is already an uphill battle to get one. We also have a dependent who will start school soon. My wife and I decided it is best to wait out for PR and organize everything at once than wasting 100$ per application.
But i’m from the same country and almost exactly the same situation as you mentioned aboved. I’d rather have them with me on a trv and wait the PR conclusion here.

Hi everyone. I was trying to complete the TRV application. But the "Activities" page, which asks of Education, Military and Work History - after inputting all details - the SAVE AND CONTINUE button does not seem to be working.
I have tried to input the Work and Education history from Most recent to oldest - order. and vice versa.
the page just wont save and continue to next one. It either says Unknown error - or it just simply stays the same.

Anyone else had this glitch?

Double check again , if you don’t input the info properly it won’t let you click next.

double check your work history, start time and when it ended.

If she have no dependent, I would have done like you but with a daughter, it adds a layer of complexity (meaning 2x TRV and potentially messing up her school year.

Double? I have triple checked and entered everything.

When you say properly, you mean:
-end date (actually, month!) - can/should it over lap with the other work history? for e.g. someone switched jobs in the month of february...technically Feb will appear as end month of work A, and start of work b...can that happen?
- does the order matters? Should it be from Most Recent Work/Education...to the most earliest? i guess it doesn't matter, as you can toggle the sorting order, once you have saved everything by click on 'From' and 'To'. i tried both ways - its still not saving!

Lastly, did anyone else recently (within 7 days) filled the TRV form? Any challenges in saving the 'Activities' section?

This form gave me tough time too,
And it doesn’t allowed more than 5 entries for both education and work. That might be the problem as well(most recent education and your work history for the past 10years)
I input 2 entries for education and 3 for work history

Yes, i just managed to save it. I shaved off one of the education items which was done parallel to a work history, but had a gap from previous education item.
Interestingly, the same application was filled few months back, with all those education and work history, and that time it was ok. That's what I was confused as i was copying how it was filled and saved before.

Moral of the story: No gaps within the individual sections, Education and Work. if you were studying lets stay till Jan 2020...took a break and worked for a year and then again went back to uni in Jan 2021...the system will not accept Education section and will consider it a gap even though you will record your work history for the same time period.

Problem Solved. There is no glitch - but the website is not that intelligent enough.

Hi Girls & Guys,
You applied for TRV, with your spousal pr in process. I believe most of you already got it, congrats on that. I too, am preparing the TRV application and wanted to learn few things from your experience, before I finalize mine. Would be great if you can provide some insights to the following:

1-GCkey or IRCC portal? - which one would you suggest?
2-Invitation letter - no placeholder for that in IRCC portal. Should i just add it in Additional Docs?
3-Did you buy Travel or Health insurance and attach its payment receipt with TRV application? Will the provider even sell one for someone who is not in Canada yet? Where did you buy it from?
4-Amount for staying in Canada....if I show that my spouse will be staying for 6 months (even though i will clearly state the purpose is to stay here in Canada while Spousal PR gets completed, as explained in Family Reunification Program announcement)....what specific amount you suggest i put in the application -that's set aside for spouse? Any suggestions? 10k for 6 months?
5-Bank Statements: 3 or 6 month statements? Should it be the longer format, meaning showing item by item expenses for 6 months, OR just the summary pages for 6 months?
6-Did you buy the flight ticket and provided its copy? Was it return ticket? Did the CBSA agents ask about return tickets?

Grateful for your input and hopefully this helps others as well.
