Online Citizenship Application - Physical presence calculator

Hi All,

Just two days back I did submit my application for citizenship. Today I realized that I missed to add an entry regarding the flagpole.
Back in 2019 I did flagpoling for work permit. It wont make any difference to eligible days and I have excess of 100 days for eligibility.
I still I would like to correct the mistake.

1 .So should I submit a webform now with UCI or should I wait for AOR then raise webform.?
2. Or wait for AOR then with Application number raise a webform?
3. while submitting webform do I just need to explain the situation or fill in new physical presence calculator and send it. ?

I cannot advise what you should do.

I can say that any effort to supplement or correct an application already submitted needs to wait until AFTER AOR . . . and yeah, then can be done by webform.

I doubt a revised physical presence calculation is necessary, particularly since this should not change the number of days in Canada. But how to address this is a personal decision.

I would note that this is probably an insignificant mistake and not likely to cause any issues at all even if you did not proactively correct it. Being prepared to acknowledge the omission, and explain it was an oversight, if asked about it during an interview would ordinarily be OK. That said, there has been at least one reliable source here who is quite confident it was a day trip omission that triggered RQ in their case, and of course the impact of any mistake, even a very minimal one, depends on the extent to which other elements in the case might suggest credibility issues or otherwise invite questions about the applicant.

A webform correction after getting AOR should easily put it to rest.
