April 2023 - Citizenship Applications

Good morning, everyone. I just received the GCMS notes that was ordered on July 7th, 2023. My test and BG check are completed since July 6th, however since then there is no update, still waiting for LPP. As per my notes, primary office is Vancouver, however, the LPP looks like has been assigned to RC8090, which is CPC Sydney office?
For those who received prior email from Vancouver VO, if your file is stuck and pending for LPP review, check and see if the process has been assigned to Sydney. One can only tell from GCMS notes.

Under GCMS notes, it also says E-Grant Review Ready PM01 (Vancouver Citizenship - Paper File). The problem is that my file is electronic not sure why it says paper file.

Hi! anyone has received the following update on their portal? despite that the FP was submitted but hasn't confirmed on the portal

"Fingerprints required: final notice
Background verification
We sent you a final notice to submit your fingerprints. "

Hi, I got same email yesterday though I did my FP June 1st and there was no update on the portal. I called IRCC yesterday and the told me to fax my proof that I did it. Have faxed and waiting on them.

Anyone else waiting for AOR in April?

I still have received nothing. I spoke to an agent last Friday who said that they are passing my information onto the processing Centre as I should have received AOR by now but they couldn't see my application on their system. I also ordered GMSC notes last week and no update to say they are even starting to process it. I received an email back from a webform I send in early June which told me to check my status following the link, which I can't, because I have no AOR. I then spoke to another agent yesterday who said his system was down but normally AOR's are sent within 48 hours and that they are processing AOR's for the end of June at the moment so I should call back next week if I haven't heard anything more from the processing Centre/GMSC notes.

Happy for everyone who has completed their Citizenship, which seems like a lot right now, but can't help feeling frustrated and downhearted about my own situation. Just feels like there's nothing I can do at this point :/

I can understand the feeling. It is frustrating. What I would advise (my thoughts) is that if by next week, you don't have tangible or concrete update, just submit a new online application.

I understand your frustration. I get it. It was not until I ordered my GCMS notes that they started working on my file and even then, it seems like it has slowed down. I applied in April received at the centre on April 11th. I received AOR in July. I wasn't sure if the AOR was for the paper application in April or the online application i submitted after being frustrated in June. It was for the paper as eventually, they cancelled the online application. Ordering the GCMS notes will allow you to see what is happening with your application. As frustrating as it is, you are not alone.
