You can. But they are unlikely to consider it.You mean I can apply to IRCC for reconsideration?

Not now. It won’t be reconsidered as far as I know. But in application stage itself you should have put Letter of explanation attaching the old PCC and proof that you have applied for new one. Still depends on officer but reading through the forum I see many got their LOE acceptedYou mean I can apply to IRCC for reconsideration?
Just to clarify what the other poster was saying, you should have included an LOE with your actual original application to explain why the PCC didn't meet the requirements. IRCC may still not have accepted this. But you could have tried. Most likely too late now but you can certainly request reconsideration. You mean I can apply to IRCC for reconsideration?
Thanks. Did you have to pay the $500 fee to Alberta the second time?Depends what Province you are from. I was in a similar boat in June last year, I applied through PNP (Alberta) but it got sent back as incomplete because I was missing half a page on my PCC. AB said they weren't able to link the nomination to a new EE profile, I couldn't re-submit that same EE profile that got marked as incomplete. I had to start the whole nomination process again.
Re: Refund - I think I got mine back in around 7-10 business days.
Yeah I certainly did unfortunately. I even had to put in a new expression of interest and wait to be invited to apply again for consideration. I was just lucky that my Job NOC is in high demand and I had a nomination within 5 days of submitting the application (both times actually).Thanks. Did you have to pay the $500 fee to Alberta the second time?

I answered No, because IRCC returning the application as incomplete is not a refusal or it being withdrawn.Hi Sean,
I am trying to complete a new AAIP application. Did you respond “Yes” or “No” to the question below? Recall my application was cancelled by IRCC.
Do you, your spouse/common-law partner, or any of your dependent children have an active application for permanent residence (APR) to Canada with IRCC or past APRs that were refused or withdrawn?
Did you withdraw your Alberta nomination to get a new one ?Yeah I certainly did unfortunately. Hi ersandee, I called AAIP and they said I had to withdraw my current nomination to be able to apply for a new one. It is also mentioned on their website on the "how to apply" section of some their streams.Did you withdraw your Alberta nomination to get a new one ?
1. I think it was about a week after I had submitted the withdrawal request. Though, I didn't apply for another certificate until about 2 months after (laziness on my behalf)Hi Sean, thanks for sharing your experience.
I applied to PR with a AAIP nomination, accelerated tech pathway, which I'm guessing was your case too as I also got nominated in about 5 days. I too got my PR application cancelled as incomplete and I just requested my previous nomination to be withdrawn, because as you mentioned, could not be transferred.
I just have a couple questions, if you wouldn't mind answering:
1- how long did it take for your nomination to be withdrawn after you requested it?
2- In what months did you apply for the nominations? I'm asking because as of now, their website doesn't show any remaining nominations for Tech pathway and I'm wondering if I might have to wait until January when they assign extra nominations for that stream.
Thank you for any info you can provide!
Yes I had to withdraw the original one, which took about a week for them to process. I asked them to transfer it, but they couldn't / wouldn't. So I had to go through the whole process again (including paying the $500 fee)Did you withdraw your Alberta nomination to get a new one ?

2. For new express entry profile I see an option to select if I have a nomination? Should I say yes ? Does this help?Following: same situation for sibling. Few questions:-
1. Is it worth reaching out to Alberta to transfer nomination to new express entry profile?
2. For new express entry profile I see an option to select if I have a nomination? Should I say yes ? Does this help?
3. Do I need to withdraw Alberta nomination so as to be picked again ? Or just new ee profile with interest in Alberta will do ?
thanks in advance for your help.
Because AB can't link an old nomination to a new EE profile, you'll need to select no so that your EE profile can go into the pool. Once it's in the pool then they can apply the new nomination to your EE profile.2. For new express entry profile I see an option to select if I have a nomination? Should I say yes ? Does this help?
