Hey Everyone

I will be applying for my Mom,Dad and sisters visit visa application soon.My mom and dad are retired govt employees and my sister is in her final year of graduation. My parents have a 10 year US visa but my sis doesn’t.Would it be okay at this point to include my sister in the application given the fact that she is still a student?
Will it also impact my parents chances of getting a visa too?
The refusal rates will be higher once my sister completes her graduation and she has no plans to settle here.
What documents apart from a bonafide letter and custodian certificate wil I need to provide to make the application strong?

Thanks

How old is your sister?

What is a custodian certificate? I'm not sure that will add any value.

Hi
Thank you so much for the response
She is 23 and the custodian certificate shows that all her certificates are with her college authorities

Your sister is not a dependant (under 22) so she applies separately from your parents. She shows her own funds, travel history, ties to home country.

Can we apply as a group instead? Like everyone under the same account?

How do we show she has enough funds considering that she is still studying. My parents have money in her account but the officer may ask the source of money/how she has that amount to be shown. Can we simply tell them that it was a gift from our parents?

No she is not in the group. So she has money in her account and she will need to say where it came from. She will want to show that she is not spending all her funds on a trip.

One of the reasons young people struggle to get approved. They have minimal ties and don’t have much savings. There will also be concerns that she is trying to stay in Canada if your parents have a supervisa and your sister has just graduated.
