How serious is medical examination for parents? My dad has had an open heart surgery 15 years ago, no issues since then but he has daily medication he takes. Should I be worried for his admission?

He will likely have to complete further cardiac testing to ensure he has not further cardiac issues.

Hello guys,
My mom is in the philippines, but i use my address here in canada for her application on PGP2022. according to her PCC request,
Please provide the current residential address for yourself and your dependant family member (if applicable). You must report any changes to your address, telephone numbers) and email address immediately throughout the processing of your application.

My question is, do i need to change her address? I put my canadian address to her application as her residential address since i did her application and secondary address is philippines.. do i need to wait for instruction from ircc or change it right away while the application is on process? Thank you guys

It is actually incredibly important because location influences how application are processed especially for landing. Also never a good idea to mislead IRCC.

Hello Everyone,

I'm sponsor and representative for my parents application
I received a letter saying
"You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for
Permanent Residence for your relative will be forwarded to Vancouver Immigration for further
processing. This office was selected based on your relative’s home address and the requirements
of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

But I'm still not able to link application to IRCC account, How long it usually takes to receive a medical request after sponsor eligibility?
ECAS also don't show any status, it always gives an error "we are unable to find your application by the information you have provided"

I tried linking application to my account and my parents account too, but no success yet. And telephone immigration office telephone 8882422100 still says "we are reviewing your eligibility....."

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to use paid representative portal to link? I have not selected paid representative in IMM5476 instead selected "
friend or family member"

Yes, they asked for updated financial information on March 24th, which I submitted on March 28th after that there was no response.

Hello experts,

Need your advice my mother went for her medical exam yesterday on 23rd July 2023. Her exam went well, She told the doctor about her Bariatric Surgery which she got done this year in March for weight reduction weight. Also doctor asked about her knee replacement which she got operated happened 10 years ago. She has Diabetes and BP which are under control and taking her normal medication. I am lil worried now, will she be medically inadmissionable in Canada?? She has no other health problems.

has anyone received any updates for 2022 application:
I have applied for my mother and received AOR. I received letter in December 2022 that all documents are good and file sent to cic office. Since than i have not heard back anything.
I am also not able to make account online. each time i get a error message and get blocked.
i have emailed CIC but they advise to check status online.

Can anyone help what i need to do ?
