Denied Entry - Nigeria 2015

Hi,

I received an ITA and I'm currently preparing my PR profile, however I was denied entry to Nigeria back in 2015 and want to know if this will have an impact on my PR application.

My Situation:
  • I flew from Turky to Nigeria (for business purposes) after the check-in agent at the airport verified the information that Moroccans can enter Nigeria without a pre-arranged visa
  • Upon arrival, Nigerian border control simply said this info is outdated and I was not allowed to enter the country and was asked to leave on the next plan back to Morocco
  • Once back, I applied for a business visa and received it, then flew to Nigeria and was granted entry without a problem.

Any idea if such an incident will have any impact on my PR application? I will answer yes to the question asking if I was denied entry to any country before.

Make sure you mention it in the application. Highly doubt it will cause you any issues (unless you don't mention it).

It will not impact ur application. I had 4 visa refusals and still got the PR.
Make sure u mention everything and be honest.
