Poor Finger print quality

Hi all,

I had provided my biometrics in the VFS global on May17th 2022.
Unfortunately due to poor finger print quality, IRCC requested for the resubmission of the finger prints.
Even this time also it's the same issue.
Can some tell me will IRCC again request for resubmission of my biometrics?

Note:
I had a medical condition on my finger tips where skin gets pealed off regularly and hard to have good quality of finger prints.

You have to wait to see if IRCC sends a request again. Have you tried emailing them with your application details and a medical report explaining your condition?

Yeah I wrote but on response yet.
Usually how many times will they ask for re biometrics? Do you have any idea?

Sorry to hear this
One Q, when you visited VFS for finger print , Did you asked them whether tool accepted it?

I believe this is fault of The person who took your Fingerprint
Usually the Tool has a detection mechanism that tells you whether the Print is enough for purpose or not , and in some medical condition the person taking it can write Note , why this particular finger success in 3rd or 4th Time and they need to make sure by percentage wise (Min pressure required) is crossed

Good Luck

Hi
Yes when I asked him he said he took finger prints with poor quality that's all.
He said he wrote some note of it.
I went to VFS on june7 2022 for second time and first time is on May 17 2022.

Usually how many times would they ask for repeat biometrics. Do you have any idea?

Hi, were the fingerprints accepted the second time? Did you already get your visa?

Hi everyone,

Last year, my wife and I submitted our PR application inland. However, we had previously done our biometrics outside of Canada about 3 years ago when we applied for study permits and work permit visas. Recently, I obtained a note from IRCC indicating that my wife's biometrics were marked as "poor quality," whereas mine were approved. As a result, our application is currently stuck in the criminality assessment stage. I contacted IRCC, and they advised me to wait for a decision from the officer handling our case.

Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi , I'm in the same situation now, did you got your issue resolved? What was the steps taken to correct and how much delay it caused in your process?
