Go for writ of Mandamus.

I did and found few Issues that I wasn’t aware of.
I also filed writ of Mandamus. Waiting for IRCC’s move until April 17th. Which issues you discovered and how? Did you receive PFL? If yes, have you responded them and what were the next steps from their side? Sorry for so many questions. I may also receive PFL

Hi @legalfalcon ,

Me and my wife has Indian passport and got the visa stamped on passport and planning to go for the first visit

My baby is added after PPR in the application. He is Australian Citizen and he didn't needed visa to be stamped.
The COPR I got for him has a end date same as Mine..

Question - Does my child also needs to do first visit before the end date as mentioned in COPR?

Thank you

Someone filed a complaint against me that my Job duties and title is different from what is mentioned in my Job letter.

It’s been 5months since the background check changed to in progress. I requested the GCMS notes but still not received. Anything else could be done ?

Not much aside from waiting. GCMS notes will arrive and you will have a clearer picture of the situation. When did you apply?

Received the ITA November 2022 and submitted AOR 28 November 2022.
Ah, OK. This is the thread for AOR March 2020, so you may want to re-post this on the proper thread to have more replies.
It really depends on your stream (FSW, PNP etc.) and on your luck, but it usually takes an average of 9 months for the application to be processed, with most of the interactions happening towards the end. The process can take anywhere from 6 months to more than 1 year (I personally waited 2+ year, but it was during COVID), so you are still in a relatively early stage.
Do not worry, nothing is wrong with your application, but do not count on things to get done quickly: it will take time.

I ordered my GCMS notes and it is mentioned as "Criminality not passed due to biometrics pending." I submitted my application on Jan 1,2023. As I am an inland CEC applicant and had a valid biometrics previously, I thought there was no biometrics was needed. Also, I didn't get any biometrics letter. Any help with this question is much appreciated.
