I submitted inland from Montreal,Quebec on June 13th and on July 13th I received my brown paper. I arrived in Canada in April 2023 and has not receive any form of financial assistance. Some family members have been assisting me financially since them. If I apply and receive financial assistance while looking for a job, will it affect my refugee claim negatively ?

No, it won't effect negative or positive. If you need it, get it. I did too.
It should not impact.
But try to find a work as soon as you get the WP as it give good indication that you are an active member in Canadian society. This is why they issue a WP for the Refugee claimants. Rather than that, the amount paid by social assistance do nothing so its better to find a job and integrate with the society.
