Yes but that was last year for my oath and after email they finished everything in a month.

Gosh! I hope you end your relationship with IRCC soon. I did it in June.

Btw I can see in your timeline your background check went back to in progress. I wonder why this happens. Hope no crazy thing like that happens anyone nearing the oath stage. That’s absurd!

That's standard. Fingerprints for background are only valid for one year. After one year if decision not made on the application, it goes back to in-progress and have to submit finger prints again.

According to this, BC isn't scheduling any in person ceremonies. Wonder how many online ones they're doing
