Re-use the same documents from the previous Express Entry Application

Hi all,

I had first received my ITA from CEC stream in Jan 2023, however, it was rejected as incomplete because my IELTS score expired in Feb 1st week and I submitted in early March. I re-appeared for the IELTS recently and received the ITA again last week from the CEC stream. My question is - Can I use the same documents as I did in the previous application - PCC, work experience letters? Since its only been 3-4 months from the last submission and I haven't travelled outside of Canada in that time. (of course the IELTS would be different)

Yes, you can generally reuse the same documents from your previous express entry application, such as the police clearance certificate and work experience letters as long as the information is still accurate and up to date. You will need to provide the updated IELTS score for the new application.

I would suggest getting updated documents as too much time has passed since the first submission. Your current letter of employment and pay info should not be 4 months old. Other than that use the same PCC and letters from prior work experience. This time make sure you add the updated IELTS score.
