Indian Passport Surrender Help !!!

Hi

if anyone can help me with couple of questions that will be great and thanks in advance

I am submitting my application by mail ,

1)Do i need to send the Canadian Passport as well or just photocopy of the passport ( self attested ) ? In Checklist it says copy and under (e) point it says copy and original; it is confusing.

2) I got my citizenship in 2022 Feb and i am surrendering my passport now ( didnt travel during the time), is that OK or do I have to pay any penalty for this ?

2) I got my citizenship in 2022 Feb and i am surrendering my passport now ( didnt travel during the time), is that OK or do I have to pay any penalty for this ? You have to surrender within 3 years. No you don’t have to pay any penalty.
