Regarding TRV process

Hi all,

My friend in canada on open work permit applied for TRV to visit India. He made application from Canada

On emergency he left India for 30days, the trv is still in process so once he gets passport request how can he be able to sent passport? Is there a separate process for it?

He needs to update his address to indicate he is in India. He will be asked to submit his passport in India for stamping. Unfortunately he may be stuck in India for a while.

The visa didn't get approved yet, next steps would be approval and they send passport request right ? Then can he simply send it from India like we he would do in Canada if he was here ?

He needs to update his address because he likely specified that his current address was in Canada. He will be sent instructions to send on his passport in Canada.
