Opt-in for Valid Open Work Permit Holders

Does there have to be at least a success message? I am not sure if I managed to opt-in or screwed everything up already...
After filling out all the fields, I clicked "opt in", and nothing happened – no redirection or anything. I waited out 30 seconds and clicked the button again, and it showed an error - as if a few fields are not filled in, which are actually filled in.

The instruction says "If you opt in more than once, there could be errors, and you could lose your application." I'm in doubt. Opt-in is still available in the profile.

Those who got a success message, can you still see this option available in the profile?
Maybe someone had the same issue?

I haven't heard anything from anyone till date.
Seems like they will start sending email after 28th June because the opt-in date is from 7th June till 28th.

I have not seen the option to opt-in or the link to extend for 18 months when scrolling to the bottom in my ircc portal. Did any of you have that issue? What did you end up doing? Flagpoling, applying the regular way?

Hi! I only saw this message at the bottom of the page after opting in. "Congratulations! You have successfully opted-in for an open work permit extension. You will not receive an e-mail confirmation and no further action is required from you at this time."

My WP expires on Aug 05, and I am as anxious as you are. It seems that we will only know the result if we do or don't receive our new work permits by July 31st.

Yes ....., I wonder if we will have enough time to apply for plan B considering the delays for processing applications and that July and August are vacation months.

This is for all who opted-in the work permit extension.
As said by the IRCC after opt-in your file will be submitted for review and then if approved you will get extended work permit by mail till or before 31st July 2023. In case if you didn't receive extension then you can raise the webform and use OWP2023 in subject line. Same info you can check in the email you received from IRCC that you can opt-in.

I applied on May 7th. Since then, no update or whatsoever!!!! Not even an email

The image you attached clearly says "you must receive a message online if it is mailed". Did anyone got that message or update online? I applied on May 7th, nothing for me.
