Hello,

I have an express entry profile with me as primary applicant and my wife as secondary applicant. My wife has prior work experience outside Canada in the healthcare field, she was working as a paramedic for 4+ years until 2019.

She has since then changed careers are has 2 years work exp in the IT industry. Will it be possible to make her the primary applicant using her healthcare experience as the primary NOC code or can we give the NOC code as primary only for the latest job worked?

She does not wish to continue in the healthcare field. If we do give the healthcare NOC as primary would it count as misrepresentation if she doesn't take up a job in the healthcare field if we move to Canada?

Our CRS score is coming only around 433 and we wanted to see if having healthcare as primary NOC would boost the chances of us getting an ITA.

She can have paramedic as a primary NOC is she has the experience letters and at least one year of continious, full-time work in the field. She can do whatever she wants if she immigrates.

I do see her NOC from the list of 35. Maybe she qualifies for a PNP as it's an in demand skill. Would it be an issue if we opt for a PNP and not work on that primary NOC related job?
You need to research what PNP she is eligible for without a job offer and no provincial license?
