Unable to link Work Permit Application In IRCC account

Hi Experts,

My wife has got an email from IRCC with subject
2023 Special Facilitation Measure: Opt-in for Valid Open Work Permit Holders / Mesure spéciale 2023: Consentement des titulaires de permis de travail ouverts
and it asks her to OPT-IN but when she is trying to link her open work permit in IRCC account it does not find her open work permit which is set to expire on Aug 2023. Due to this, She is unable to apply for the extension. Please let me know what can be done here. Is there any other way of linking? We have sent the complaint to IRCC by using their web form but they said they will let us know if they have any updates on it and she should not contact them anymore. We have verified that we are fulfilling the criteria of the above extension.

She is on SOWP(not on PGWP) and I am on a closed work permit for an employer in Toronto, Our daughters are here on Student Visitor Record. All of our work permits and student visitor records are expiring on Aug 31, 2023.

How can she apply for this extension? Does applying through this extension mean she and her family member's (spouse, daughter) work permit/student visitor record will also be extended or do they need to apply separately?

Hi I have the same issue. I am unable to link my husband’s account. Have you resolved this? If opt in is not an option you can apply for the normal work permit and state in a letter that you’re applying under the public policy. That is what we plan on doing . Let me know if you’ve another option

Hi @Lyn50 I am not able to resolve it. I did the same thing(applied as normal work permit extension) and now waiting for the result.
