I just wanted to know what your thoughts are about the processing speed and updates from CPC Sydney, NS. I haven’t received any updates since March 22nd for my Jan 2023 spousal PR app. I’ve seen a few people discuss this processing centre so I wanted it make a thread about it.

Your process is pretty fast i am sure you will receive pr till September for sure as time processing time of spousal applications are pretty good at this time people are getting their pr in 6 to 7 months

I feel like a lot of people already received their Medical at the same time they did their biometrics so I feel like this VO is just slow. I wanted to know if people who’s apps are with this VO are experiencing the same issues.

Brother there is a difference if they recieve medical first then their ppr will take more time and if you will get medical late you will instantly recieve ppr so at the end time will be almost same

Ahh ok I didn’t know that. Most people I’ve seen post their timelines with BIL and MIL within a month of each other. Thank you for clarifying.

7 to 8 months is minimum time for yr file most people get their pr in this time

I’m in the same boat. My wife’s biometrics were submitted on Mar 31st but the last update I received was Sydney VO updating them on the application tracker on June 14th. BGC has been in progress for months and eligibility hasn’t even started. The tracker is useless tbh. Just hoping to get medical soon or just anything at all so I know it’s being looked at. This VO is just bad imo.

how about the Eligibility, is that completed? mine only too 6 month to complete top to the bottom
