My Friend is going to apply Canada PR. he got invited from express entry.
But due to some personal reason. he can't leave the his country now. Based on current timeline, PR will get approved in few months.
Is there a deadline for him to Landing in Canada after PR get approved?
What happen if he got PR but come to Canada 2 years later?

Yes, there will be a deadline for landing in Canada. Typically this is tied to the medical and you have one year from the time you completed the medical to land in Canada and become a PR. The expiry date of the PR visa cannot be extended. If he does not travel to Canada and land by the deadline on the visa, then he will not become a PR and the PR visa will no longer be valid. He will then need to reapply for PR from scratch / from the start.

Coming 2 years later is not possible.

Tied to medical is confusing. because at least for my PR, I got approval 1 year after the medical exam, and then my immigrant visa gave another year. so the expiration date is 2 years after my medical exam

IRCC may have extended your medical. That sometimes happens. Sometimes IRCC also has the applicant re-do the medical. Anyway, the main answer is that the PR visa will have an expiry date. That date will not be more than a year into the future. Your friend must travel to Canada and land before the expiry date on the PR visa if he wants PR. Otherwise he has to reapply from scratch. He doesn't need to stay in Canada. He can simply travel to Canada for a few days and then return to his home country (and move to Canada later). He must surely be able to travel to Canada for at least a couple of days just to complete landing formalities?
