Have 3 years and more foreign work experience but no pay stubs. My employer is willing to provide me with a reference letter. Would that be enough?

Hello everyone, I need help here. I have been able to arrange for reference letters. Would that be enough in filing of my PR application to show proof of work experience. I have no pay stubs. Please could you advise ?

They do not have the concept of pay stubs. Only provide a cheque when the payment is made to me and that's deposited in your bank account.

Okay so take a screenshot of the bank statement and maybe can write a LOE explaining that this payment came to me. Not sure if it would help but something is better than nothing. Paystubs are important otherwise anyone can just get a reference letter made up.

I agree with this, although IRCC really should have explicitly mentioned that additional proofs such as pay stubs are required here

So in India they do not provide pay stubs. All we have is a cheque provided and that is deposited into your account. I do have bank statements which can show the money deposited.

Actually, being asked to provide additional docs seems to happen on a case-by-case basis. Some people have got their PR approved after providing their reference letters without any paytstubs. See this, for instance:
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/query-about-foreign-experience.790083/post-10374779

But just like @ImpatientDragon suggested, try to get some additional documentations to be on the safe side. There could be several factors no applicants would know that might determine whether or not they are needed.
