Hello Guys,

I recently re took my IELTS exam to improve my CRS score and I currently have 435 points. I got my invitation today ( Latest draw ) and I am confused whether I should accept it or decline it.

I am in my last year of F-1 visa and I recently got my H1-B picked ( Yet to be approved ) . I don't know the odds of approval as things are getting really weird here in the states and hence, I decide to apply for express entry as my back up plan. As a part of this plan, I took my IELTS, got FBI clearance certificate ( as I was told that I takes time ) and currently in the process of evaluating my academic documents. Now that I got my H1-B picked, I am confused on whether I should continue with my application process or wait till I find out the result of my H1-B and then accept the invitation and take it from there.

Please let me know your thoughts / suggestions

Thank you so very much in advance.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
You have 90 days from 18 May 2017 i.e. upto 16 August 2017 to think about it.
Get all documents ready for ITA & if you decide not to go to Canada then decline on 15 Aug 2017.

As far as I know you can decline invitation & again re-enter as well as get out of the pool.

Dear all,

I am in a similar situation.

I have PNP nomination and 600 points have been added to my EE profile. I accepted the CIC ITA but I do not think I can collect all the required documents within the last date only few days remaining.

If I decline the CIC ITA now will I be accepted in back in the pool? And can I get an ITA in the next draw again?

Desperately waiting for an answer.

Hello, how did it go? I am having the same issue. I heard declining the ITA won't affect our 600 points, but not from official sources.

Thank you so much!

I am in a kind of tricky situation now.
I got the nominated in New Brunswick two weeks ago and I have some concerns about my application. I am wondering if you could give me some advice.

I had one year working experience outside Canada (Title A) so I am qualified for FSW. I started to work in Canada last year in May with Title B but didn't graduate until last September.
My PNP officer counted my internship as the in-Canada working experience, which means I have already had one year working experience in my primary Title B. But in my EE profile, the in-Canada experience (Title B) won't hit one year until end of August.

I understand that I only have 60 days to submit my application if I get invited.
So the wise thing to do is to decline the ITA if I get invited before July, 1. My main concern is that if I decline the ITA, is my pnp score still valid in my EE profile for the next draw?

The pnp officer thinks I will be fine since I am already qualified for FSW but he is unsure about what is gonna happen to the pnp score if I decline. I submitted a webform in IRCC website but haven't got anything back yet.

Please let me know what you think. I really appreciate it!
