Eligibility "in progress" twice

Hi there! We applied for Conjugal Partner sponsorship last May 2022.

My Eligibility started on Oct. 13, 2022 and completed in April 4, 2023.
Background verification started on April 19. I checked the PR tracker last April 26th and my Eligibility was once again updated to "in progress" together with the Background Verification. I just checked the tracker again and the Background verification was completed last April 27th.

Does anyone else encountered this? I'm very worried..

Don't know why you're worried. All rather normal. Your application is being processed.

Eligibility was already completed last April 4.. then on April 26, it went from completed to being in progress again..

I don not think you hqve anything to be worried about. As you can see they are already processing your application and well under its way.

Don't worry about what the tracker things call things, think of them as database flags going on and off. Tumblers. Movement means something is happening. They don't mean what humans think.

One warning, I see you applied conjugal sponsorship, that's a somewhat unusual category, where eligibility tests are a bit specific. I don't see any reason to think anything odd from the tracker data, only to note - because a specific program - more chances of issues than 'regular' spousal sponsorship.

We had approvals and approval in principal on January 12 - then about a month later they sent an email saying to disregard the last emails and that they were “re-assessing eligibility” as they wanted a custody document in addition to the form from non-accompanying parent. So yes, mine did go from complete to in progress. Did they send an email? I also find tracker and gc key not to be very reliable. My husband is waiting on pr card now and gc key still shows eligibility as in progress and background check not started. Tracker shows application in progress and all areas as completed.

It basically said that I might not meet the requirements for a conjugal partner. I guess they're having doubts with our relationship.
