Regards,

To apply for a work visa, she needs a job offer from a Canadian employer and that employer would need to apply for an approved LMIA.

She can certainly apply for a TRV (tourist visa) now if she wants to visit temporarily as a tourist. To be approved, she will need to show strong ties to her home country to show she has no plans on using the TRV to remain in Canada long term.

There are no specific visa types for doctors. Note that she will not be able to work in Canada as a doctor without going through a multi-year process, including completing a residency here. It's generally very difficult to secure residency spots for internationally trained doctors. So she should be prepared for the fact that this will be a challenging process.

From my understanding she is a homeopathic doctor. Not sure if her degree would actually qualify her to take the medical licensing exams and apply to try and secure a residency spot. Has she had her degree evaluated through WES, ECA, IQAS, etc.?

Ah, yes - you're right. That won't be recognized as a medical degree in Canada.

I can't be bothered to watch the video.

The BHMS degree is regarded as the equivalent of a bachelor degree in Canada, not as a medical doctor.

Can anyone help me with this as I am in same situation. I’m a BHMS graduate and I want to evaluate my degree
