Travelling abroad after my study permit expires but before I get my PGWP?

Hey everyone. I hope this is the right place for my question.

My study permit and visa will be expiring on June 30. I have applied for PGWP a few days ago, which is expected to take a while. What should I do if I want to travel abroad after my study permit expires but before I get my PGWP? (assume I will return mid August)

Should I apply for a visitor's visa with form imm5708? What would be my Purpose of Visit then? Or should I avoid travelling abroad altogether?

you can travel and apply for a TRV after you get PGWP in your home country

You can try visitor visa but I would not in this situation
