My oath was in person. so, didnt have to go throught that process.Hi. Did you receive Do not reply email after sending oath form from cic-Calgary-Citizenship@cic.gc.ca ? Thank you.
Similar situation here. My location is Toronto. I received test invite from Scarborough but when I called couple of weeks ago, the agent told me my office is Sydney. No updates since test marked completed on Feb 2nd.Received test invite from Hamilton office, but the IRCC call centre agent told me that my processing office is CPC Sydney. No updates since test marked completed on Feb 20.
App moves around and back to Sydney for LLP and then back to your home office for Oath.Similar situation here. My location is Toronto. Lol I doubt that is the case. Because SCR office has a lot of times called people for interviews and for some lucky ones they have offered them to do their oath ceremonies right after the interview( I am assuming these are those ones who have exceeded the processing times). Recently I was reading someone's comment on FB page where they had an interview at the SCR office and was told by the officer at the end of the interview to expect oath by End of week or so. That person had his LPP marked completed the very next day after the interview and oath scheduled for June.App moves around and back to Sydney for LLP and then back to your home office for Oath.
Sydney(AOR) ---> Home office ---> Test and request CBSA and CSIS for Background ---> Back to Sydney for LLP---> Back to home for Ceremony
This is my thought and I have no proof it is actually real, but it makes sense based on processing at least in my head.
Different offices or teams within the immigration authority or government department may handle specific parts of the application process. For example, there may be separate teams for document intake, document verification, background checks, eligibility assessments, and decision-making. The division of responsibilities can help ensure efficiency and expertise in handling different aspects of the application process.
Thanks for listening to my little self ted talk haha wish you speedy processing.
Hope Sydney office turns out to be lucky for you.Similar situation here. My location is Toronto. I received test invite from Scarborough but when I called couple of weeks ago, the agent told me my office is Sydney. No updates since test marked completed on Feb 2nd.
It's for someone who were residing outside Canada with Canadian spouse or common-law partner, or permanent resident spouse, common- law-partner, or parent, who was employed outside Canada in or with the Canadian Armed Forces, the federal public administration or the public service of a province or territory, otherwise than as a locally engaged person. What is the "Residence Outside Canada " ( CIT 0177) form . Who has to complete this .I can't get it to open

SCR office has moved files to Mississauga office as well in the past.
Lol. They are indeed. I just have stopped stressing or checking my tracker everyday as I just feel it was messing up my mind. I would like to be surprised one fine day with an update. Lol.Hahah you are prob right, I just read this is the manual https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/canadian-citizenship/grant.html they use when processing application and their procedures and it outlines what Sydney does Vs what the local office does etc etc.
Also, I remember in 2019 I had a person who reported to me at work went to their interview and told me they would be back in 1.5yrs and then later called me and told me he was asked to do the citizenship Oath same day so he will need the full day off, so they for sure can do that.
IRCC is one big mystery, these operational manuals are so long no wonder the agents take so long lol they forget what to do
It does mess up your mind, it has become a habit and takes such a mental toll on you. i have my Oath date but yet I still log in daily for no darn reason, IRCC has left a mark in our minds for life. if they reported on a user log-in habit I bet they would see people avg log in per day is prob 3x per dayLol. They are indeed. I just have stopped stressing or checking my tracker everyday as I just feel it was messing up my mind. I would like to be surprised one fine day with an update. Lol.
