The agent told me over the phone but didn't give me any time when the BG check passed. On pr tracker, it is still in process. I know the start date which was in March I believe March 15, 2023. The security check-in process doesn't know the start date.
I think you are in the last phase of BGC with criminality and info sharing passed. Standard security checks don’t take that long, this is what I got to know from other threads. Mine is also under security check. I hope this ordeal will be ending soon. Let’s keep each other posted!! Wishing you all luck!!
I have confirmed with the IRCC agent and she said all passed- info sharing, medical, and criminality ( these three things are part of the background check). idk she said a security check is not part of a background check. It's a separate and last step just before making a final decision. Another thing idk why the security check is taking forever. There are many applicants stuck at the security check. Yes, and I will!!

Did you work in military/government service in home country? I heard people having military background will take long security check. I have also police background and my security is in progress since one month. I am also afraid because no body knows how long it will take.
No, I never had any police/military or government service back home, but still, usually it takes 110 days as per my knowledge in normal cases, otherwise, it could take up to 1 2 years
I have one also as today. May be they have worked something on our files or it could be a glitch.
