Help- Medical exam shows completed but not passed??

Mine was "Complete" until the realized my old ones had expired mid processing and then it went back to "in Progress" and they requested new ones lol

You are not exempted from that 5 year period?

I was because I met all the requirements. They only expired in March 2023.

They sent me a Re-Med request on the 18th May and my Tracker Changed from "Complete" (because Medical actually got approved in December originally) to "In Progress" and a New IME Number. GCKey changed from "You don't need a medical exam" to "We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details".

I did the exam 19th of May. On the 22nd May, my Tracker got updated with the Old IME Number and New Expiry Date (they extended it 12 months) - Tracker status didn't change.

As of Today Medical still says "In progress" on Tracker, GCKey still shows "We have requested a medical exam". So I have no idea what is actually going on.

I know the Doctor still hasn't submitted the new ones, so I don't know if GCKey is just lacking and still expecting those results or not.

Oh so you mean you did a new medical exam as they requested, but then you found they have extended your old ones for another year even before your new medical results got uploaded?

Yep, that's exactly where I am at right at this moment. So now i'm just waiting to see which one they accept.

GC KEY - "requested for medical exam" (since 29 May before that it was "we do not need medical exam")
Tracker - "in progress" with new IME number and no expiry date (since 30 May before that it was "completed" with my OLD medicals and expiry date as NOV-2022)

I DID NOT DO my new medicals yet as I want to wait for more couple of days if, by chance, they update with my old medicals and extended expiry date (as they did do with @sean468 )

I'm not sure where you live, but here in Calgary, most Immigration medical places are only booking 2-3 weeks out, very difficult to get it any quicker. I would book something just incase yours don't update. You can always cancel the appointment if you don't need it. Also, book the blood tests for about 3 hours after your medical exam, just incase of any hold ups. I know walk ins for Blood Work where I am you can be sitting for about 3-4 hours.

So seems like new medical has to be done. Please let me know when and if your tracker is updated with new medicals IME details.
Now I will have to follow up for new medicals next week then.
And after how many days after medical test the report is updated by doctor (or GCKey updated with medical passed ) ?

I did the medical on 18th May, the Doctor submitted them to IRCC yesterday 2nd June, and they updated to Medical Passed on the 3rd on GCKey

I suspect Monday i'll have the tracker updated as well.

Tracker updated today with Medicals completed. They used the New Medical Request I did.

Yep all 4 parts on Tracker is Completed now. Now just the waiting game.

We also did our new medical today. Hope to see it updated within 2 weeks or so.

I am closely following this topic as well, and congratulations for receiving the Portal 1 email. I find myself in a similar situation. Initially, I had my medical updated in GC Key to MP on May 29th, and the tracker reflected this change on June 30th. However, after two days, the status on GC Key reverted back to 'You do not need a medical exam.'

Furthermore, the tracker now displays a new IME number, distinct from the old number associated with my previous medical exam conducted in 2020. Previously, the expiry date was for June 2021, but it has now been updated to June 2024. I am not sure what is happening!!

What's your take on this guys?
