End of 2022/Start of 2023 PSR Applicants timeline - share here

Hello everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for those who have submitted their applications for private sponsorship in late 2022/Early 2023. I wanted to share that my G number has not been issued yet, and I was wondering if anyone else who submitted their application in the past few months has received their G number yet. If so, could you please share what month you submitted your application? And visa office?

Additionally, I wanted to ask if anyone has any information or updates on the current processing times for ROC-O?

I submitted my application on October 29 2022
and still waiting for the G number.

I believe @Karrar Al-Tameemi is part of your batch. As far as I know, there is no one else in the forum who is from the same timeline as you.

I applied for Pr card online october 2022, got G number on February 2023. Which shows medical passed and i called yesterday 30th may to ask ircc they said your criminality is passed already just waiting for eligibility

I am sorry, but it appears that you are an inland applicant. Please note that this thread is specifically designed to track out-of-Canada refugees, which may not be relevant or helpful to you as the PSR and inland procedures are quite different.

Update - Just received AOR email from CIC, confirming that the application is complete. They also gave us the G number for our application.
Still approval and file transfer is pending.
Does anyone know how long that might take?

Congrats! Check your Ecas application status to see when your file was received. Processing time starts then and transfers to visa office can take up to 6 months. A G number is another way to estimate, transfer to visa office usually takes less than 2 months when you receive a G number.

They did not update the system earlier but now the ECAS is up and running. They received the permeant resident application on October 20, 2022.
