Hi
Anyone please if you came across a similar situation, I'm struggling for a firm answer!!

I have a 10-year TRV (visitor), and, according to my FSW-O timelines, everything is completed I'm just waiting for the CoPR!! While this is good news, I'm actually worried about the PR visa stamp step, and I would like to do a virtual landing.

Due to personal circumstances outside my control, my best option is to go to Canada as a visitor very soon (enter as a visitor), and claim CoPR/PR after landing using the virtual landing process. Is it a smooth process or am I gonna be questioned/deported due to dual intention?

Any helpful information/experience is appreciated!!

It takes 15-17 days to stamp your visa as an outland candidate.

Let's say you want to land virtually - you'll have to inform IRCC about you being in-land once you get your PPR. You'll most likely send a webform or reply to RFV email to let them virtually land you (if that's allowed). They'll take 15-20 days to respond back to you with next steps.

Getting visa stamped as an outlander would be faster in this case.

A case for you to refer to better understand how much time it can take: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/virtual-landing-unit-only-credentials-pr-timeline.734697/page-53#post-10292685

I'm not only worried about the time it takes for stamping but also due to personal reasons, my best course of action is to land as a visitor soon and only start the virtual landing from within Canada. However, I'm worried that my CoPR will be issued before my travel plan to enter Canada, so wondering if that would mean my TRV is cancelled as soon as the CoPR is issued, or is the TRV remains untouched until I get PR visa stamped.
