Hi,
I have submitted a study permit application for my masters degree in Vancouver and it was refused stating only that "You do not have significant family ties outside Canada".
Can anyone please explain what this means? Do I lack family ties in my home country or I have stronger family ties in Canada?
I have some extended family in Canada from my father's side with whom we don't have any communications, but none of my immediate family lives in Canada. I am not married and my mother lives in my home country.
Can anyone please help me to better understand the situation so I can reapply with better reasons and documentation.
Thanks in advance
