E-certificate possible if oath letter didn't state it as an option?

I did not email, during my oath ceremony ceremony after we had to cut up our PR card I asked the person attending to me.

Did they send an email after the ceremony for portal registration? How long did it take to available for downloading?

I got the portal email the following morning as my oath was in the evening on Thursday. I was able to download the e-cert on Monday.

Thanks for all the answers. we received a response that we need to ask to reschedule our appointment if we wanted an e-certificate. we will try to ask for it during the ceremony. thanks again

Your only option is a paper certificate if you haven't been asked to participate in the e-certificate pilot
