Vulnerable open work Permit process time

I am so sorry about your abuse. I hope you are okay. Expect 4-5 months.
IRCC aims to process these applications within 5 days. This is outlined in their policies. The recent cases we've seen on this forum (which aren't many) have almost all taken 1-2 weeks. Waiting months seems to be an exception for these work permits. Most are processed quickly.
Thank you. It has been one month since I submitted, and I still haven't received any updates.
On the website Canada.ca it is written at their own discretion, officers may consider a duration of 12 months. The work permit should not be valid for longer than the passport or travel document. So if within a few months you have not received results. I don't think you need to be too impatient. Notice will be sent to you later.
You're misunderstanding what this means. The duration refers to how long the VOWP will be valid for. This has nothing to do with processing times. OP asked about processing times.
