Difference in name placement on work permit from new passport

Hi all,

I intend to apply for PR via Express Entry to Ontario.

My old Indian passport had my entire name written in the Given name section and the last name section was blank. Since this is the passport I had at the time of my work permit, the Canadian officials put my name in the family name section of the permit and left my first name blank.

I have recently amended the name of my passport and the new passport has the name properly split in the given name and last name section of the passport respectively.

I wanted to ask if I will have to apply for an amendment of my name on the work permit before I can apply for PR or will it be considered as it is also?
