Hi Friends,

I had oath ceremony just before the strike on April 18 2023. I contacted IRCC this Monday after the strike got over and they told my citizenship certificate was sent out on May 1st. It has been 4 days and I still haven't received it. I live in Toronto and wondering how it would take more than 2 business days to get the certificate mailed to my address. Anyone with similar experience?

I work for Canada post ,all Over size mail is re-routed , we just moved from downtown Eastern Avenue to Albert Jackson in Scarborough, Bigger facility , you will get your certificate next week , you could say I'm the guy that takes all the bulk mail to the facility to be sorted , Over size mail included Citizenship certificates, with the strike the normal volume from IRCC dropped just started to pick up .

I am on the same boat. Oath ceremony was on April 18, 2023, however, I have not received the certificate yet. Please update here when you receive it.
