Family trv application, bvl for mother but no update on minors application

Dear all

I submitted a group trv application with my son ( 1.5 years old) in September 2022 they sent me a bvl on the 2nd of may and visa number was updated yesterday for me. However, nothing has changed on my son's application. There is also a 2021trv application for him that i submitted on his own, but there is no movement on that either. I thought when u applied in a group you get results together. Does anyone have any experience on this?

Like you are just worrying for no reason, it will surely come without issues, minors are processed differently.

Applying as a group doesn’t mean that applications will always be processed at the same time. So you have two applications for your child? One should have been cancelled.

Exactly my thought, both of them are still active with no update.

But you should have canceled the first one. Did you because that is your responsibility? IRCC doesn't do it for you. Now you have two in process for an infant which may delay the second one too.

I though it gets withdrawn when they process the second one, that's the trend i have seen, thats why i didn't cancel it.
